K9DUR VoiceKeyer

(Version v5.6.0)

The K9DUR VoiceKeyer was specifically written to interface to PowerSDR™ via Virtual Audio Cable (VAC), or to SmartSDR™ via DAX. PowerSDR is the program used with the older Flex-Radio Systems line of software-defined transceivers, and VAC is a 3rd party software driver that creates pairs of virtual audio cables. SmartSDR is the software used with the Signature series (FLEX-6xxx) of transceivers using DAX (VAC is not required).

VoiceKeyer allows you to select which soundcard installed on your PC to use for sending messages. Many other digital voice keyer programs only use the Windows default sound card.

Although it was written for PowerSDR w/VAC or SmartSDR w/DAX, VoiceKeyer is a general-purpose digital voice keyer program which can be used with any amateur radio transceiver by using the PC's sound card and a hardware interface to the rig.

Operating System Requirements:  VoiceKeyer has been tested on systems running:

Microsoft Windows Windows 7, 8, 10, & 11 (32-bit & 64-bit)

VoiceKeyer is not supported on operating systems not listed above.

TIP:  You can use the built-in record features in PowerSDR to record the necessary .wav files, or you can use the SmartSDR DAX Mic Stream channel fed into a utility such as Audacity to record them.
